  1. I find it a little odd given the relationship between the two religion’s histories. If some Muslims want to protect and respect another religion’s right to worship and vice versa, it is completely fine by me. They will be the first to die in the line of fire in the midst of the protesters’ wrath.

  2. The faith in this is very strong. It's shows how religions can find ways to help other religions. Beside, almost all religions lead to one God, right? It shows that we, as people, can work together and pray together no matter what race and religion he/she follows. It's a challenge, but it's something we're getting close to.

  3. I thought this was a pleasant display of humanity. Individuals putting aside their differences to protect their fellow man. It is worth noting that both religions believe in the protection of the innocent. They gathered to protect others during their sacred times and let them know that no group is wholly good or wholly bad.

  4. This is a great step in the religious world, because this shows two different religions coming together as a whole to worship their own god. The two religions didn't care about any one else and protect each other when they were in there sacred place or time. If all religions are like this, then maybe we could have peace in the world without having to disagree or disprove other religions.

  5. I think that it is great that people can join religions and woe together. We are slowly breaking down the international barriers. When one person does this, more and more start to step in and help out. They each use there own sacred place and they are helping each other practice there beliefs. When there sacred place is kept sacred by another religion, our world become more respectful, and a greater world.

  6. I like the fact that we are to the point in society where we can all learn to accept the
beliefs of other religions. Its amazing how we are willing to collaborate with one another and form one unified religious community, worshipping the one and only God the Father.

  7. I find that difference in religion is trivial because they are all worshiping a higher power and sometimes it is the same higher power. Religion should be working together from the beginning but I am glad that we finally learned to work and pray together.

  9. It is really important for people to join and love together even though their religions might be different. All people have different religious ideas and different views about God, however, it is absolutely true that all people have hearts so that they respect and love each other which our God wants us to do. All the fight, conflict, and argument on religious difference should be stopped and understand others to practice our religions.

  10. I'd say this is a sacred time since two different religions are uniting over their right to peacefully practice their faith. There's a lot of bad history between Muslims and Christians, dating all the way back to the Crusades. However, there were times that the two got along just fine and it's nice to see the media show the positive connections between the two instead of just highlighting their animosity. Regardless of race, ethnicity, gender, orientation, and especially religion, people should remember that everyone is a human being. This issue could also speak against police hostility, but as this is a religion class, I'll just end this here.

  11. Just like what Javad said we need to believe what we need to believe. I personally have respect of other peoples' religious beliefs. I too also like the fact we as a religious community are united as 1 because Islam, Christianity, and Judaism believe in one God.

  12. It is amazing to join together although each religions are different, perhaps going through the trials and error. However, it is true that people are respect in each other's religion to join and love in one God. I think the fights against each other's religions should be stopped and collaborate each other to love everyone.

  13. This act breaks the stereotype that religions don't help each other. It shows that the worlds is slowly moving past it's pride to do the right thing.

  14. This act of kindness shows that religions do help each other and they are not always at war. It shows that people truly care for each other and have respect for what others believe in.

  15. This really shows the good that can come out of different religions getting together in a way other than war. It's an example that conflicts can be resolved without the use of weapon's.

  16. This is an act of kindness and also religious because people are coming together to help someone out and do the right thing.

  17. In the past, Muslims and Christians have not been religiously affiliated with one another, but this event simply shows that people from opposite sides of the spectrum can come together and do something out the kindness of their hearts.

  18. This event proves that stereotypes of a certain group of people not respecting another group of people is false. These two historically controversial groups have joined together to assist each other in prayer. People working together to protect each others different beliefs. It's a beautiful thing to think about.

  19. This is a great event in that not only were they praying with one another, but they were also protecting each other from angry riots and mobs throwing stones at and trying to hurt them. This shows that two groups that formerly had nothing to do with one another could work together to help one another.

  20. It's depressing to see people attacking other people in their time of prayer. Prayer is always a very sacred time, no matter what religion you are. But it is good to see that people see that connection and Christians protected Muslims in this time of violence. Here, it proves that no matter what religion, people have the kindness in their heart to protect others in this time of sacred prayer. Showing that there still is hope in the world, that not all people are evil, that there are others who are willing to protect others for a good cause.

  21. I have heard about these rings of protection to keep people who are praying safe, and I am greatly relieved to know that people can find the compassion in their hearts, that their religions value, to protect these peaceful praying people. News like this restores my hope in the fact that most of humanity can be good and peaceful to one another.
